Utah jazz

CJ began his professional career with the Utah Jazz, who signed him for two years. As a result, he became the Jazz’s youngest player in franchise history. CJ was assigned to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League (D-League) for the 2005-06 season to gain more basketball experience. In the 2006/07 season he played 21 games.
