Brighton manager Graham Potter has had his say on Southampton ahead of tonight’s clash saying:

They’ve been really, really impressive. Not just the points they’re getting, but the performances. I’m particularly impressed with the job that Ralph has done there, because they faced a really really tough moment last season and managed to get through it.

“I think that tells you a lot about the quality there. All credit to them for that, I like them a lot, I like the way they play, it’s really clear, it’s a good organised team, with some really good players, and we know it’s going to be a really tough game.”

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl speaks abead of the Brighton game saying:

It’s not always possible to score three or four times, we must sometimes try to win games by only scoring once or twice. If we can manage this we have a bigger chance of taking points.

“Brighton have the quality to be higher in the table, they had a lot of chances to actually win against Liverpool [last week].

“Last season was a very important win for us, our first of the season, we took a clean sheet and scored in the right moments.”
