The duo also contributed pose, American Horror Storyand scream queens. Brad is also the writer and executive producer of the TV series Nip/tuck.

His journey as a writer began with Mutant X in 2001. Brad also wrote for the same year Earth: Final Conflict. Two years later, Brad became the writer for Veritas: The Search in 2003. That same year, Brad was also hired to work on the first season of Nip/tuck.

While working on the latter, Brad developed a close bond and partnership with series creator Ryan Murphy. Since then, Fulcuk and Murphy have collaborated on several projects. As Nip/Tuck approached its sixth and final season, the writing duo teamed up with Ian Brennan. At the time, Ian had written a screenplay about high school show choirs. The three worked together to present Fox Broadcasting Company with an hour-long comedy about a glee club. This project was successful and became a TV show Joy. The three received two Writers Guild of America Award nominations for Best Comedy Series and Best New Series.

After the early success of joy, 20th Century Fox Television signed Brad to a two-year, seven-figure deal. This deal included further work on joy and developing other projects for the studio.

American Horror Story

In 2011, Brad has contributed American Horror Story. It is the FX horror drama anthology series. Brad again worked with Ryan Murphy on this project. This series stars popular actors like Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton. This series also received nominations for 17 Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 15 Primetime Emmys in 2013. Brad Falchuk was nominated for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie in both years.

Then in 2014, American Horror Story was again nominated for 17 Primetime Emmy Awards. This time Brad Falchuk was nominated for Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or Dramatic Special.

Brad also served as an executive producer American crime thriller. He also worked alongside Ryan Murphy this time. In 1997, Brad co-founded the art education non-profit Young Storytellers. He did this as a student at the American Film Institute. Brad also worked with Mikkel Bondesen and Andrew Barrett. They did this in response to cuts in funding for creative arts programs in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The author is currently a member of the advisory board of Young Storytellers.
